Just before the developers left for the day they let me know that after fixing most of the bugs, ImageSpark was finally ready for the second last leg of the process, internal testing. We actually started doing some testing a few weeks ago but it wasn’t real because the Dev team said that when it came time for the real testing, all the information that was being uploaded was going to get wiped. So there wasn’t much I could do… until today…

Based out of the United Kingdom, Holger Pooten is a photographer who truly understands the strength of the narrative and the power of the concept, and he obviously has a thorough knowledge of strobe photography and the various lighting techniques required to create that dramatic shot. “The Knob Light by designer Jeong-Sun Park adds a new functional dimension to door knobs that will put an end to fumbling in the dark, trying to open the door on your way to the bathroom.
The Knob Light is essentially a door knob with an internal generator that stores energy. This energy is then used to illuminate at night, making it the perfect night light.
I like the idea of utilizing kinetic energy that would otherwise go to waste (opening and closing doors), but I have reservations about the fragility of the design and how comfortable it would feel in a hand grip.
