This is by no means a new idea, obviously. But what makes this project a terrible success is that the following items are essentially life size. Which makes this project kick fucking ass.

I’m always a fan of art installations that re-contextualize everyday places and objects. And this particular installation concept really hit the nail on the head. It’s amazing how much impact a regular object can have when it’s removed from its typical environment. Great stuff.

Illustrations by Quentin Vijoux

I’ve definitely been taken by the work of Quentin Vijoux. He’s the kind of dude that makes his craft look easy. Such is the case with most super talented people but I guess what I like about his work is that it’s not overly complicated. There’s just enough details for you to enjoy and I appreciate that ability to be reserved.

Magnetic Rings by Laurent Milon
Post Content

Rings produced using freeze ironed powder then combined with molecules of other precious metals. I mean, I personally wouldn’t rock em, but respect to anyone who can actually pull this off… without injuring someone.
