After 5 days of apartment hunting, literally all over the city, our search has come to an end. Meghan and I signed a 1 year lease with a condo in Gastown on Friday… and then spent today at Ikea getting an idea of how to furnish it…
So now what? Well I don’t move in until Feb 1st (landlord might let me move in a couple days earlier cause the apartment is vacant anyways) and while I’m currently living for free I might as well enjoy the bed, cable and internet.
Now I’m not gonna show you pics of the place just yet cause it’s literally empty (+ I didn’t take any pics myself) but I will show you a couple pics of our fantastic North East/East facing view…
Yeah, so it’s all good. Really happy with our decision. But the best part? There’s an indoor basketball net downstairs!!! I am going to rip this net a new hole, lol. Can you say home court advantage?
