A couple days ago I wrote a quick post about McDonald’s going green and changing their iconic colors of red and yellow, to green and yellow. Well this morning I was heading to work on the streetcar and noticed a truck with a new McDonald’s sign with their staple golden arches, except this time the backdrop was green and not red. Luckily I decided to roll to work with my camera, so I hoped off the streetcar and snapped some pics…

Being the strategic move that it is, I wonder if McDonald’s plans to green their menu. Quite frankly, the only reason I don’t eat at McDonald’s is because my perception of their food is a very, very, unhealthy one. Not only that, but I recently watched Food Inc. and I’m really suspect about how chain’s like McDonald’s handle their food from start to finish.

  1. i work two buildings up from this McD’s. i can’t figure out what the place’ll look like when they’re done. The sign looks green, but the siding they’re tacking up to cover the brick is more of a charcoal grey/slate colour. Very strange.

McDonald’s food is disgusting, and is especially vulnerable to our health. However, I eat there from time to time (with the perception to only visit them for their breakfast).

Dress it up however you like, McDonalds is still an evil corporation which takes innocent life and destroys the planet. An inconvenient truth? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I-bXSKOl6nI
