Boom. Complex just release their top 50 greatest action movies of all time. I think I’ll play the role of critic of this list considering that I was an 80′s baby which is, as you know, the era of the action film. They’ve got a couple films in there that I’ve never even heard of (The Road Warrior, The Wild Bunch, The Killer) and a couple ones that I’d need to watch again to see if they were correct in their assessment. But for the most part the list is a pretty good representation of the best action films…

Cottage Country

Some friends and I decided to head north to Muskoka for a small but much needed cottage getaway. Especially with the garbage strike, here in Toronto, it was nice to get away from the stench of the city. Did I say stench? I think I meant a straight punch to the face. Photo of The Day (July 2nd)
Post Content

This photo is obviously composed of multiple exposures as you can tell by looking at the edges of the tree line (toward the right side of the photo). But nevertheless, the impact of this photo left unaffected. The sun lighting up the greenery, the storm filling the sky, and the rainbow arching the horizon makes for a very compelling landscape.
